Difference between low viscosity and high viscosity resins

Low viscosity resin

The viscosity of most standard/rigid resins is 100-200 cps (25 ℃), which belongs to the category of ultra-low viscosity in 3D printing materials.
Advantages: easy to print and clean
Disadvantages: The printed parts are fragile

High viscosity resin

RESIONE team generally define the resin with viscosity higher than 600 cps (25 ℃) as high viscosity resin.
Advantages: good mechanical properties of printed parts
Disadvantages: It is difficult to print, and it is more picky about settings. It is necessary to increase the “Rest time after retract”(or “Off times”) and “Lift distance”, which leads to longer printing time.
